If you are new to macOS, knowing its shortcuts can be helpful to make tasks easy. How to copy and paste on MacBook is one of the first things everyone should know. Select the text or file that you wish to copy. Press Command (⌘) + C. Navigate to where you wish to paste it and press Command (⌘) + V.
